About Us

North Bay Honor Flight

North Bay Honor Flight is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and a member of the National Honor Flight Network. Established in 2023, North Bay Honor Flight (NBHF) serves more than 52,500 veterans from the Northern California counties of Sonoma, Napa, Marin, Mendocino, Lake, Humboldt, Del Norte, and Trinity. Together with our Northern and Central California sister hubs: Fresno, Central Valley, Bay Area, and Kern we have the potential to positively impact more than 510,000 veterans residing in these counties.1

North Bay Honor Flight's Mission is Two-Fold:

One of recognition, to provide a long-overdue "Welcome Home" to our local North Bay veterans who served in World War II, Korea, and Vietnam, ensuring their sacrifices are never forgotten.

One of gratitude, for veterans' service, sacrifice, and selflessness.
We proudly celebrate America's veterans with a Tour of Honor at our nation's capital.

A 2023 Chapter Launch

At 1615 on Friday, March 31, 2023 at Jennifer and Kevin Wodlinger's
home — a spousal team with prior Honor Flight leadership experience — Jennifer as board secretary and Kevin as board president and co-founder, the first regular meeting of the North Bay Honor Flight was called to order and the NBHF chapter was launched. The board is currently led by Emmy Award winner Claudio Calvo, former U.S. Marine and NBHF chapter co-founder.
