Overdue "Welcome Home"
North Bay Honor Flight is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and a proud member of the National Honor Flight Network which was established in 2005 with a powerful vision: to fly World War II veterans to Washington, D.C. (at no cost to the veteran) to visit their military service war memorial and other significant war memorials and monuments in the city. Over the past 20 years the Honor Flight Network and its vision have grown nationwide, to include veterans from the Korean and Vietnam War eras; flown more than 315,000 veterans to Washington, D.C.; and reengaged communities across the United States of America.
Established in 2023, the North Bay Chapter of the Honor Flight Network - based in Santa Rosa - is one of 132 nationwide chapters and serves veterans from the Northern California counties of Sonoma, Napa, Marin, Mendocino, Lake, Humboldt, Del Norte, and Trinity.
